🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented 2D Character Animator to join our remote team. You will be responsible for animating characters and scenes based on storyboards, animatics, and director feedback while maintaining high artistic and technical standards.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Animate characters, creatures, and props in a 2D pipeline
- Interpret storyboards and animatics into smooth, expressive animation
- Ensure consistency with character models and style guides
- Work closely with directors, storyboard artists, and other animators
- Revise animations based on feedback and deadlines
- Meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards
🎨 Requirements
- Proven experience in 2D character animation (studio experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of timing, weight, and acting in animation
- Proficiency in tools such as Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, or similar software
- Solid drawing skills and understanding of anatomy and motion
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Portfolio/demo reel showcasing relevant animation work
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience working on TV series or streaming productions
- Familiarity with rig-based animation workflows
- Background in traditional animation principles
